In the first trading session of December, VN-Index remained in green for most of the time but suddenly reversed at the end of the session, ending the market's 5 consecutive gaining sessions. With the same movement, profit-taking signal appeared in NVL when it gained more than 20% from the bottom after only 3 sessions.

Global banks are turning bullish on South Korean shares, expecting a revival in semiconductors to drive a rally next year, while they see Japan's market as resilient thanks in part to its weak currency. Goldman Sachs says South Korean stocks are the bank's top "rebound candidate" for 2023 due to low valuations and as companies benefit from an expected recovery in Chinese demand.

HDB: CEO of HDBank registered to buy another 1 million HDB shares. This is the third time since the beginning of this year, Mr. Pham Quoc Thanh - General Director of HDBank has registered to buy HDB shares, which is expected to start from December 6, 2022. Previously in March 2022, Mr. Thanh completed buying 1 million shares of HDB and in November he continued to buy 659,700 shares, bringing the total number of shares owned to more than 1.9 million.
