Asia markets rebounded on Tuesday as Wall Street rallied overnight. Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 1% Bank of Japan Governor told that the central bank could raise rates in July. Besides, South Korea’s Kospi climbed 0.72%, led by gains in chipmakers Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.

Update on deposit interest rates of 34 banks nationwide as of June 18th: 17 banks raised their deposit rates compared to the end of May, mainly for terms under 1 year. 16 banks kept their rates unchanged, while 1 bank reduced deposit rates from the previous month.
