The price of SJC gold today fell freely with a decrease of 1.5 to 2 million VND per volume compared to yesterday's session, big brands such as SJC, DOJI, PNJ, Phu Quy, Bao Tin Minh Chau simultaneously brought the price to the region of 159 to 162 million VND per volume.

SBV issued Circular 08/2026 amending Circular 22/2019, allowing the calculation of 20% of term deposits of the State Treasury into the deposit base when calculating the LDR rate. Because State Treasury deposits are concentrated up to 99.59% in the state-owned commercial bank sector at the end of March 2026, BID, CTG, VCB and Agribank will almost fully benefit, while the joint stock commercial group will not benefit.
