The red color covered most of the major markets in the region as profit-taking pressure spread in chip and technology stocks after a hot period thanks to the wave of artificial intelligence, resonating with the decline of US technology stocks last night. Japan's Nikkei 225 and South Korea's KOSPI, which are heavily dependent on the semiconductor sector, were under the most pronounced pressure, while China's Shanghai Composite and Hong Kong's Hang Seng also fell simultaneously.

Hoa Phat has just announced its capital contribution to establish Song Hau Offshore Wind Power Joint Stock Company, an enterprise operating in the field of renewable energy production including wind power and solar power, with a charter capital of VND 2,000 billion, of which Hoa Phat contributes VND 600 billion, equivalent to 30% of the capital. Although details of the new company's platform project have not yet been announced.
