Major markets in the region are differentiated. The most prominent is that South Korea's KOSPI index rebounded sharply, recovering from a plunge of nearly 10% in the previous session, which stemmed from the exclusion of this market from the consideration for upgrading to MSCI's development group resonated with the wave of sell-off in semiconductor stocks. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index and China's Shanghai Composite also inched slightly in the green, Japan's Nikkei 225 index went against the downtrend due to continued pressure from technology and semiconductor stocks.

Saigon Gold, Silver and Gems Company listed SJC gold bars at 144 million VND buying and 147 million VND selling, down 1 million VND each in both directions compared to yesterday's session. Doji Group and PNJ Company also simultaneously lowered the price by 1 million VND each, bringing the price to the same mark of 144 million VND bought and 147 million VND sold.

Hoa Phat has just announced its capital contribution to establish Song Hau Offshore Wind Power Joint Stock Company, an enterprise operating in the field of renewable energy production including wind power and solar power, with a charter capital of VND 2,000 billion, of which Hoa Phat contributes VND 600 billion, equivalent to 30% of the capital. Although details of the new company's platform project have not yet been announced.
