Pinetree partners with SSC to advance financial education for the next generation

Pinetree has officially joined hands with the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC), SSI, and FiinGroup to launch a financial education and investment training initiative for university students majoring in economics and finance, contributing to the development of high-quality talent for Vietnam’s capital market.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony SSC, Foreign Trade University , and the Academy of Finance took place on July 8, 2026, with the participation of Pinetree, SSI, and FiinGroup as strategic partners.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration among regulators, educational institutions, and industry leaders to enhance education, research, and human capital development for Vietnam’s securities market.

As part of the collaboration, Pinetree will provide Stock123 – Vietnam’s first virtual stock market learning and simulation platform – to support universities in building hands-on investment training environments for students.

Through Stock123, students can experience the entire investment journey in a simulated market, from monitoring market movements and analyzing listed companies to developing and testing investment strategies. The platform bridges the gap between theory and practice by enabling learners to gain practical investment skills in an intuitive, interactive, and risk-free environment before entering the real market.

As a pioneer in Vietnam’s digital securities transformation since 2019, Pinetree has consistently leveraged technology to enhance the investment experience while promoting financial literacy. Stock123 is one of the company’s flagship initiatives within its digital ecosystem, designed to help the public learn and practice investing through realistic market simulations.

Within just six months of its launch in January 2020, the platform quickly gained widespread recognition and became the leading stock market learning and simulation application in Vietnam.
