The price of SJC gold bars in the afternoon of August 13 increased by 500 thousand VND each in both directions, to 141.30 million VND bought and 144.30 million VND sold. Bao Tin Minh Chau increased the most with 900 thousand VND in the buying direction and 1.9 million VND in the selling direction, to 141.70 million VND and 145.70 million VND.

By July 31, the credit balance of the whole system reached VND 20.26 million billion, an increase of 8.98% compared to the end of 2025, the difference between credit outstanding and capital mobilized in dong has reached about VND 2 million billion. The ratio of bad debts on the balance sheet at the end of June was at 3.31%, especially real estate outstanding loans accounted for 25.5% of the total outstanding loans of the economy with bad debts increasing by 10.5%.
