- US stocks rose slightly on Wednesday (December 8) as investors continued to expect the impact of the Omicron variant to be less threatening than many previously thought. At the end of the session, the Dow Jones index reversed to increase near the end of the session, inching 35.32 points (or 0.1%) to 35,754.75 points. The S&P 500 index advanced 0.3% to 4,701.21 and was 0.9% away from its all-time high. The Nasdaq Composite added 0.6 percent to 15,787 points.

- To achieve the 2022 growth target of 7-7.5%, Hanoi has set out five groups of solutions: Health and disease prevention and control; Ensuring social security; Supporting businesses, stimulating public investment and operating management. In the health sector, the People's Committee has reported to the City Council an investment package of VND 1,000 billion to strengthen grassroots health care.
