- Chairman of the Hai Phong City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tung said that Hai Phong's economic growth (GRDP) in 2021 will reach 12.38% compared to 2020. This increase, though not meeting the plan, ranks first and is more than 5 times higher than the average. national army (1.5-1.9%). This is also a high growth rate when compared to other centrally run cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang and Can Tho.
