US stocks fell on Monday (July 11), as Wall Street prepares to enter the earnings season, the reports of major companies due to be released later this week may signal How development is affecting businesses. At the end of the session, the Dow Jones index dropped 164.31 points (or 0.52%) to 31,173.84 points. The S&P 500 fell 1.15% to 3,854.43, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 2.26% to 11,372.60.

In the past week, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) continued to expand its activities of withdrawing money, in addition to maintaining parallel pumping through the open market. In the mortgage channel, the State Bank maintained the bid level of 5,000 billion dong/session, all with a term of 14 days, with an interest rate of 2.50%. As a result, there were 793.28 billion dong won, while in the week there was 529.64 billion dong due.

Foreign investors were slight net buyers on HoSE in the 11/7 session. VNM was bought the most by foreign investors on HoSE with 54 billion dong. GMD and PNJ were net bought at 26 billion dong and 24 billion dong respectively. Meanwhile, SSI was sold the most with 47 billion dong. DPM and VND were net sold 42 billion dong and 24 billion dong respectively.
