US stocks fell for a second day in a row as investors worried about tensions between the world's two largest economies after US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited Taiwan (China) last night. The S&P 500 index fell 0.67% to 4,091.19. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 423.23 points, or 1.23%, to 32,396.17. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.16% to 12,348.76 points.

The Prime Minister agreed with three pillars to focus on development of the city in the planning period 2021-2030, vision 2050. Those three pillars are resort real estates, high-tech industry associated with construction creative urban construction, start-up; information technology industry, electronics and telecommunications associated with the digital economy and finally seaports and transportation.

VN-Index surpassed 1,240 points with improved liquidity, foreign investors continued to net buy VND 385 bil in the whole market. Real estate, oil and gas, steel and fertilizer suddenly increased strongly. The bright spot was that market liquidity continued to stay at a high level with the total trading value on HoSE reaching VND 16,886 bil, up 4.2% compared to the previous session.
