VN-Index fluctuated strongly in the session of ETF funds (FTSE ETF and V.N.M ETF) restructuring. At the end of the session on September 16, VN-Index dropped 11.63 points, the group of pillar stocks had a strong divergence. Stocks with increased weight in the fund portfolio such as VRE, VNM, PVD... simultaneously gained strongly. Asian stocks mostly fell at the end of the week of September 16. Investors continue to worry about persistently high global inflation and the possibility that major central banks around the world will continue to raise interest rates. In Seoul market, Korea's Kospi index dropped 0.79%, extending the losing streak to the third consecutive day. At the end of this session, the Kospi index dropped 19.05 points to 2,382.78 points.

The USD/VND exchange rate reached a record level. This week alone, the average USD to Vietnam Dong conversion rate has increased by nearly 0.6%, bringing the increase from the beginning of the year to more than 3.6% and is at the highest level in the history of conversion. While the SBV kept the reference rate unchanged at the Exchanges at 23,700 VND/USD (sell) and left the buy column blank, the USD selling price on the commercial banking channel continued its strong upward trend.

HDB: HDBank is about to issue more than 500 million shares to pay dividends in 2021, increasing its charter capital by a maximum of VND 5,030 billion through a share dividend at the rate of 25%. The last registration date to close the list of shareholders is September 28. When completing the issuance plan, HDBank's charter capital will increase from VND 20,273 billion to VND 25,303 billion. The additional charter capital is expected to be spent about VND 3,000 billion to supplement medium and long-term loans, the rest will supplement working capital for other activities.

VJC: Vietjet plans to issue another 108.3 million shares to pay the 2021 dividend at the rate of 20%.
