US stocks extended their decline in the first session of the week with the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling into a bear market, reflecting investors' concerns about the consequences of banks' inflation control. The S&P 500 index fell 1.03% to 3,655.04 points, breaking the low of 3,666.77 points recorded in June. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq index fell 0.6% to 10,802.92 points.

USD price at banks on the afternoon of September 26 created a new record, up to nearly 23,900 dong, on the black market also trended up. The State Bank of Vietnam currently lists the central exchange rate at 23,334 dong, up 10 dong compared to the end of last week and more than 0.8% higher than the beginning of the year.

Foreign investors on HoSE were the biggest net sellers of NLG with 170b dong, KDH was behind with a net selling value of 141b dong. HPG topped the list of foreign investors on this exchange with a value of 69b dong
