U.S stocks had a positive start to the month as U.S government bond yields weakened from multi-year highs. The DJIA increased by 0.91% to 29,490.89 points. The S&P 500 index increased about 1.04% to 3,678.43 points after hitting a nearly two-year low on September 30. The Nasdaq Composite Index increased by 0.73% to 10,815.43 The Dow Jones recorded its biggest gain since June 24 in yesterday's session. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 index increased by the most since July 27

According to the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the update to September 20 shows that Vietnam currently has 1,584 valid overseas investment projects with a total capital of more than 21.6 billion USD. In the first 9 months of the year, 80 investment projects abroad will be granted new investment registration certificates with a total capital of more than 347.3 million USD - an increase of 2.31 times compared to the same period last year
