JOB PURPOSE
To support the execution of the product vision and roadmap defined by Product Managers, focusing on translating requirements into deliverables, coordinating with development teams, and ensuring smooth rollout of digital products and services.
CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Requirement Analysis & Backlog Management
- Work with Product Managers and business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements.
- Translate business requirement into user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain a clear product backlog.
- Prioritize tasks in alignment with Product Manager guidance.
Product Development & Delivery
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and designers in Agile squads to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Ensure compliance of product features with securities regulations.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Develop short-term and long-term product strategies and roadmaps.
Coordination & Communication
- Act as the day-to-day contact point between business users and Development teams.
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues to Product Managers.
User Experience & Feedback Loop
- Collect feedback from internal teams, clients, and market data to propose enhancements.
- Monitor adoption metrics and report insights to Product Managers for strategic decisions.
OUTCOMES &MEASURES
- Product backlog is well-maintained, transparent, and aligned with business priorities.
- Features are delivered on time with quality that meets defined acceptance criteria.
- Smooth coordination among business units, IT Division, and Digital Platform Department, minimizing miscommunication and rework.
- Improved client experience and product usability through continuous feedback integration.
- Regulatory requirements are adhered to in all product releases.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Securities, Information Technology, or other related fields..
2. Job knowledge
Domain Knowledge
- Solid understanding of products such as equities, bonds, covered warrants, and derivatives.
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to securities trading and product operations.
Analytical & Problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze business needs, trading data, and user feedback to formulate clear product requirements.
- Strong analytical thinking with a customer-centric mindset.
Product development skills
- Experience in product development under Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Proficiency in building and managing backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency in English communication is an advantage
3. Relevant Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or product management in finance, banking, or securities.
- Preference for candidates with experience in developing securities products
4. Required Competencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively translate requirements between business units and product development teams.
- Ability to work effectively across functions (Core Development Department, Infrastructure Department, Legal & Compliance Department, Marketing, Customer Service, and Business Units).
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance business needs and technical capabilities.
