US stocks rose on Monday (November 7) as investors looked forward to a busy week with the US Congress midterm elections and key inflation data in the next few days. Investors anticipate that the consumer price index report released on November 10 will provide more detailed direction on how far the US Federal Reserve (Fed) needs to go to reduce inflation.
