Wall Street's main indexes tumbled on Friday, on course for their biggest weekly drop of 2023, as further strong consumer data had investors bracing for more aggressive rate hikes from the Federal Reserve to fight sticky inflation. Billionaire investor Warren Buffett on Saturday signaled he has lost none of his enduring confidence in the U.S. economy and his company Berkshire Hathaway, and in his annual letter to shareholders pushed back on critics of stock buybacks.

For the beginning of the month, DXY Index has increased by nearly 4%, to 105.20, the highest level recorded in February. The strong US data has completely changed the market in February, when the personal consumer prices (PCE) increased by 0.6% last month. The hotter economic data is expected to help the USD stronger than the main currency this week.
