VNIndex struggled in a narrow range, ending the session almost unchanged compared to yesterday. The chemical industry gained the most thanks to representatives from the rubber-industrial park group (PHR +2.6%, PDR +4.8%, GVR +0.6%). On the contrary, securities group dropped deeply due to profit taking (BSI -3.8%, FTS -3.7%). Real estate group traded actively such as NVL +6%; NLG, HDC, TDC hit the ceiling price.

The international dollar depreciated ahead of the inflation data to be released tonight while the domestic USD price remained stable, with only a few banks slightly increasing the exchange rate. Some banks slightly raised the USD buying and selling price such as Vietcombank increased by VND10, BIDV increased by VND5 and Sacombank increased by VND3.
