The stock market opened in green, but after 10a.m, investors' transactions showed signs of caution as the index struggled around the reference level. Near the end of the afternoon session, VNIndex witnessed a deep decline of nearly 13 points with a strong increase in selling pressure. At the ATC session, the index recorded a recovery and closed down 7.05 points.

Most Asian stocks fell on Wednesday. Japan's Nikkei 225 index fell 0.21% as a Reuters poll showed business confidence for the biggest companies fell in early September, amid growing concerns about the recession in China, one of Japan's largest export markets.

At 7:30 this morning (September 13), the USD exchange rate suddenly decreased by 24VND/USD compared to the same time yesterday. But after 9a.m, the exchange rate increased to 23,995VND/USD. The reference USD exchange rate at the State Bank's Exchange is listed at 23,400 - 25,144 VND/USD (buy - sell), moving sideways on the buying side and increasing VND14 on the selling side compared to early morning.
