- At the end of 12/11 session, US stocks simultaneously declined when the number of Covid-19 cases in the US continued to increase strongly, raising concerns about the situation of the economy. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 317.46 points, or 1.1%, to 29,080.17 points. The 30-stock index fell to 495 points at the beginning of the session. The S&P 500 lost 1.0%, or 35.65 points, to 3,537.01, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.7%, or 76.84 points, to 11,709.59 points.
