- Expecting the next stimulus package, Wall Street set a new peak. Dow Jones increased by 248.74 points, or 0.83%, to 30,218.26 points, surpassing the historic peak of 30,046.24 on November 24. The S&P 500 increased 32.4 points, or 0.88%, to 3,699.12 points, surpassing the historic peak of 3,669.01 on December 2. Nasdaq increased 87.05 points, or 0.7%, to 12,464.23 points, surpassing the historic peak of 12,377.18 on December 3.
