Gold prices edged higher on Tuesday, as recovering expectations of a U.S rate cut in December weighed on the dollar and Treasury yields ahead of economic data that could offer further signals on the Federal Reserve's policy trajectory. In the domestic market, the price of SJC gold bars remained unchanged compared to the previous day, with the bid price at 82.8 million VND/tael and the ask price at VND85.3 million.
