After a sharp decline yesterday, the domestic gold market witnessed a strong rebound today. SJC gold prices surged, nearing the record level of 123 million VND/tael, while plain gold and gold jewelry also saw sharp increases, hitting the all-time high again.

VPB: Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) has successfully executed a syndicated international loan deal with an initial value of USD1 billion, with an option to expand based on the bank's capital needs. The loan was arranged, underwritten, bookrun, and co-financed by major and reputable international financial institutions, including Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), Standard Chartered Bank, MUFG, ANZ, Cathay, Commerzbank AG, CTBC Bank, Mashreq Bank, and State Bank of India. This is not only the largest foreign syndicated loan ever secured by a Vietnamese bank, but also the largest international financing deal aimed at promoting Sustainable Finance by a Vietnamese bank.
