Extending its rebound from the previous session, SJC gold prices continued to rise today, gaining 100,000 to 600,000 VND/tael across major retailers, marking the second consecutive session of gains. Meanwhile, silver prices have just surpassed the key 35 USD/oz level, hitting their highest point in over 13 years, driven by solid industrial demand and a prolonged supply shortage.

SSB: AEON Financial Services announced that it had signed a share purchase agreement with SeABank on February 3, 2025, to acquire PTF and make it a subsidiary. However, during the post-merger integration (PMI) process — which involves aligning management, business operations, and systems — AEON Financial Services discovered that the accounting information disclosed prior to the agreement significantly differed from the actual figures. For this reason, AEON Financial Services has issued a notice to SeABank requesting the contract be declared null and void, effective from June 6, 2026.
