On July 8, domestic gold prices strongly rebounded after a prior correction. SJC gold bars jumped back to 121 million VND/tael, while ring and jewelry gold recorded impressive gains—some places even saw increases of up to 600,000 VND/tael.

According to the State Bank of Vietnam’s press briefing on July 8, 2025, by June 30, total credit to the economy had exceeded VND17.2 quadrillion, up 9.9% compared to the end of 2024. Credit was focused on priority sectors and business activities. Compared to the same period last year, credit had risen approximately 19.4%.
