Asian markets ended mixed amid U.S. political tensions between President Trump and Fed Governor Lisa Cook. China’s Shanghai Composite posted the sharpest drop, down 1.76% to 3,800.35 points, followed by Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index, which lost 1.2% to 25,201.76 points. Notably, Indian markets tumbled as the U.S. officially imposed a 50% tariff on Indian imports.
