Asian stock markets rallied on the morning of September 12, following Wall Street’s record-setting session the night before. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index rose nearly 1.2%, boosted by a surge in Alibaba shares. In South Korea, the Kospi gained 1.5%, moving toward a new peak as major chip stocks climbed in line with the momentum of AI-related stocks on Wall Street.
