Today, global gold prices continued to soar, hitting a new historic high of over 4,200 USD/ounce. Similarly, domestic gold prices in Vietnam also surged, with SJC gold bars reaching 148 million VND/tael, while plain gold rings and jewelry simultaneously set new record highs.

HDB: On October 10, 2025, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) issued an official document approving the charter capital increase of Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank (HDBank). Specifically, the SBV approved a maximum capital increase of VND 3,493 billion via convertible bond conversion into shares, in line with the capital increase plan previously approved by HDBank’s General Meeting of Shareholders.
