Following the sharp decline in global gold prices yesterday, domestic gold prices also plunged across all segments today after hitting historic highs. Specifically, SJC gold bars, plain rings, and jewelry dropped significantly, although Bao Tin Minh Chau gold rings remained the most expensive — 6.7 million VND/tael higher than SJC gold, and over 20 million VND/tael above global gold prices.
