The technology group led a sharp decline across Asian stock markets on November 21, as investors remained unable to shake off concerns about an artificial intelligence (AI) ‘bubble’. In Seoul, shares of Samsung Electronics fell 5.8% while SK hynix plunged 8.8% — both among the world’s leading memory chip producers. Another chip giant, TSMC, also lost 4.8% in Taipei, while investment group SoftBank tumbled more than 10% in Tokyo.

Domestic gold prices dropped across most segments today, with SJC bullion falling by as much as 700,000 VND/tael, bringing the ask price below VND151 million. Gold rings and jewelry also declined by 200,000–500,000 VND/tael.
