JOB PURPOSE
- Build and develop relationships with Institutional Clients.
- Provide dedicated client servicing and relationship management to enhance client experience and strengthen client engagement with the Company’s products.
CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Develop New Customer
- Plan and execute activities to source, approach, advise, and open new accounts for institutional clients, including investment funds, asset management companies, banks, insurance companies, and other institutional investors.
- Ensure targets for increasing institutional brokerage market share and annual trading volume are achieved.
- Coordinate with the Investment Banking and Trading departments to offer relevant products.
2. Customer Relationship Management & Services
- Build, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with institutional clients.
- Provide and support professional customer service to ensure stable trading activity and increase client loyalty.
3. Investment Consulting & Information Provision
- Work closely with the Research Department and other relevant teams to provide clients with market information, research reports, and investment recommendations.
- Introduce potential business opportunities and new products tailored to each client’s needs.
4. Participation in Client Engagement Events & Seminars
- Attend corporate events, networking sessions, and seminars to engage with investors and businesses, strengthen relationships, and promote Pinetree’s image and products.
- Ensure clients receive complete and timely information about the company and its services.
5. Multi-product Revenue Growth (Cross-selling)
- Introduce and advise clients on other Pinetree products and services such as derivatives, asset management, and corporate advisory to maximize client value and increase overall company revenue.
OUTCOMES &MEASURES
- Achieve growth in market share for new account openings and trading volume as assigned.
- Deliver professional client servicing to maintain, strengthen, and grow the institutional client segment.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Securities, Accounting, Auditing, Banking, or other related fields.
- Possession of a valid securities practicing certificate.
2. Job knowledge
- Strong skills and in-depth knowledge of the financial and securities markets.
- Good understanding of institutional investor behavior.
3. Relevant Experience
- Have 5 – 10 years of experience in Institutional Sales, Asset Management, Fund Management, or Investment Banking at a Bank, Securities Companies, or Fund Management Companies.
4. Required Competencies
- Ability to work under pressure and meet business performance targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills; strong customer-centric mindset.
- Proficiency in English for communication, presentations, and report writing.
- Professional working style and attitude.
