Asian markets mostly traded in the green, following Wall Street’s strong rally. In China, the Shanghai Composite rose 0.4% and the Hang Seng surged 1.6% after the country’s top leaders concluded their annual economic planning meeting on Thursday by reaffirming broad economic support for next year, including boosting consumption and stabilizing the real estate market.

Today, the domestic gold market witnessed a strong and broad-based surge. SJC gold bars climbed close to 156 million VND/tael, while 24K and 18K jewelry gold also recorded impressive increases ranging from 300,000 to 1.1 million VND/tael across many businesses.
