On the afternoon of December 17, domestic gold prices unexpectedly reversed course and bounced back after the sharp decline in the previous session. SJC gold bars climbed back above 156 million VND/tael, while plain gold rings and 24K/18K jewelry gold also rebounded simultaneously, with gains ranging from 250,000 to as high as 1.3 million VND/tael.
