Following the US market, the main indices in Asia mainly fell today with the Hang Seng in Hong Kong down as much as 1.85%, the Shanghai Composite in mainland China also down as much as 0.96%. Last night, the global gold price suddenly fell sharply, at one point plunging up to 9% compared to the highest price of the session. This has caused the domestic gold price to also have a shocking decline, the price of SJC gold bars and smooth round rings fell deeply, retreating to around the mark of 181 million VND/oz; while gold jewelry also fell sharply from 3.5 to 10.5 million VND/oz.
