Despite Vingroup's ceiling increase, many sectors simultaneously adjusted, especially the state-owned stocks, which caused the VN-Index to fall by nearly 9 points in the session. Only Vingroup stocks rose in the market in today's session. On the contrary, all other sectors declined with Technology, Chemicals and Banking being notably negative.

Today, following the correction momentum in the US market, the red color covering the entire Asia-Pacific region. Leading the decline is the Kospi index in South Korea, notably large chipmaking stocks have had a sharp decline such as Samsung and Hynix, down 5.8% and 6.44%, respectively. Besides, the Nikkei 225 in Japan also recorded a decline of 0.88%, of which, SoftBank fell more than 7% after chip designer Arm's third-quarter report was lower than forecast.
