Asian stocks rose as investors assessed Japan's trade data and awaited the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) interest rate decision later in the day, now the market is expecting the Fed to keep interest rates stable at 3.5% to 3.75%. South Korea's Kospi index led the gains in the region thanks to mainstays Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, which rose more than 7% and 8%, respectively. Samsung's rally came even as its union workers in South Korea voted in favor of a strike, escalating a dispute over bonuses and increasing the risk of production disruptions.

The DXY index fell again after the market adjusted its risk appetite ahead of the Fed meeting. Domestically, the USD price adjusted in the opposite direction in the context of the central exchange rate turning down. On the "black market", the USD this morning is currently traded at 26,800 - 26,900 VND/USD, the buying and selling prices are unchanged compared to the levels recorded yesterday.
