- Dow Jones continued to rise on Tuesday (November 10), extending its strong momentum in the previous session as the market turned away from stocks that had thrived during the Covid-19 pandemic and shifted to stocks related to the economic recovery. At the end of trading on Tuesday, the Dow Jones added 262.95 points (or 0.9%) to 29,420.92 points. However, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite struggled in the context of major technology stocks plunging. The S&P 500 dropped 0.1% to 3,545.53 points and the Nasdaq Composite lost 1.4% to 11,553.86.
