- At the end of the 29/12 session, US stocks declined slightly after reaching historic peaks, in the context of investors considering the possibility that additional fiscal stimulus package will be approved by the National Assembly. The Dow Jones industrial average closed 68.30 points lower, or 0.2%, at 30,335.67 points. The S&P 500 fell 0.2% to 3,727.04 points. Nasdaq Composite lost 0.4 percent to close at 12,850.22. The drop in this session also ended a streak of 3 consecutive gains of the Dow Jones and the S&P 500.
