The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended the day up 56.84 points, or 0.2%, to 31,097.97 points. The S&P 500 rose 0.6% to 3,824.68 points. Nasdaq Composite rose 1% to 13,201.98 points. Both Dow and S&P 500 have a series of 4 consecutive gaining days.
