- At the end of January 14 session, US stocks declined slightly as investors waited for information on new economic stimulus package. The Dow Jones industrial average was 68.95 points lower, or 0.2%, at 30,991.52 points. At the beginning of the session, the index of these 30 stocks rose by more than 150 points. The Nasdaq Composite fell 0.1 percent to 13,112.64 after hitting an all-time high. The S&P 500 Index closed 0.4 percent lower at 3,795.54 points.
