- The Dow Jones index continued to decline on Friday (March 19), after the US Federal Reserve (Fed) decided not to extend the additional leverage easing (SLR) measure. Thereby, the increase in bond yields and the sell-off of financial stocks. The S&P 500 dropped 0.1 percent to 3,913.10 points, closing off its intraday low as the index fell 0.7 percent. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.8% to 13,215.24 points
