- Ending the April 5 session, US stocks hit an all-time high when the market received positive employment data and solid data in the service sector, thereby raising expectations for a rebound economy. The Dow Jones industrial average rose 373.98 points to 33,527.19, hitting a record high at the close. The S&P 500 rose 1.4 percent to 4,077.91 points, also hitting a new record close. The Nasdaq Composite rose 1.7 percent and closed at 13,705.59 points.

- According to the Foreign Investment Department - Ministry of Planning and Investment, as of March 20, the total FDI capital reached 10.13 billion USD, up 18.5% over the same period in 2020. Including 234 new projects granted investment registration certificates with a total registered capital of 7.2 billion USD, up 30.6% over the same period in 2020. It is estimated that the projects have been disbursed 4.1 billion USD, up 6, 5%.
