- Ending session 13/4, most US stocks traded in the green when the March inflation data was better than expected. However, the discontinuation of the vaccine by Johnson & Johnson partly overshadowed the optimism. The S&P 500 rose 0.33% to 4,141.59 points and continued to close with new highs. Nasdaq Composite rose just over 1% to 13,996.1 points. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 68.13 points, 0.2%, to close at 33,677.27 points, after falling more than 150 points earlier in the session.
