- The S&P 500 index set a new record on Monday (August 30) as the stock market continued to climb in the last days of August. At the end of the session, the S&P 500 index advanced 0.43% to the new record high of 4,528.79 points, while the Nasdaq Composite added 0.9 percent to an all-time high of 15,265.90 points. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones index lost 55.96 points (equivalent to 0.16%) to 35,399.84 points.

- According to the latest data from the Foreign Investment Det, as of August 20, the total newly registered capital, adjusted and contributed capital to buy shares, buy contributed capital of investors foreign investors reached 19.12b USD, equaling 97.9% over the same period in 2020. Of which, 1,135 new projects were granted investment certificates with a total registered capital of nearly 11.33b USD (up 16% over the same period).
