- The S&P 500 and Dow Jones continued to rally on Friday (September 24), ending a volatile week on Wall Street. China's move to ban cryptocurrencies has put pressure on the tech sector, and Nike stock declined as supply chain issues caused by the pandemic hit the athletic shoe giant hard. Ending the session, the Dow Jones advanced 33.18 points (or 0.10%) to 34,798.00 points. The S&P 500 added 0.15% to 4,455.48, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.03% to 15,047.70.
