- US stocks fell sharply on Wednesday (December 1), wiping out previous gains, after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed the first case of Omicron infection in the US. At the end of the session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 461.68 points (or 1.34%) to 34,022.04 points, after jumping more than 520 points to the peak of the session. The S&P 500 index lost nearly 1.2% to 4,513.04 points. The Nasdaq Composite fell 1.8% to 15,254.10, after gaining as much as 1.8% earlier in the session.

- Currently, deposit and lending interest rates continue to decrease compared to the end of 2020. In which, deposit interest rates decreased by 0.4% and lending rates decreased by 0.7%. Accumulated from January 23, 2020 to now, more than 1 million customers have been able to access low-interest credit sources with outstanding loans of over VND7 million billion.
