- US stocks were under pressure again in a volatile session on Friday (December 17), amid concerns about tighter monetary policy and the continued complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, leading to Major indexes fell last week. Ending the session, the Dow Jones fell 532.20 points (equivalent to 1.5%) to 35,365.44 points. The S&P 500 Index fell 1% for the second consecutive session to 4,620.64 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell nearly 0.1% to 15,169.70.
