- US stocks fell on Friday (November 19) as concerns about a resurgence of the Covid-19 outbreak weighed on global markets, although technology stocks remained higher. Ending Friday's session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 268.97 points (or 0.75%) to 35,601.98 points. The S&P 500 fell 0.14% to 4,697.96 points. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite added 0.4% to 16,057.40 points.

- Data released by the State Bank of Vietnam shows that people's deposits at banks have decreased for 2 consecutive months, in the context of deposit interest rates remaining at very low levels. From March to now, people's deposits have grown "sluggishly", with no month increasing above 0.5%, even many months of decline. This is an unprecedented development in previous years.

Market liquidity continued to set a record with an average trading value of 43,220b dong/session, up 12% compared to the previous week.
