The US stock market fell in the trading session on April 14, the S&P 500 index fell 1.21%, to 4,392.59 points. The Nasdaq index lost 2.14%, to 13,351.08 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 113.36 points, or 0.33%, to 34,451.23 points. The focus of investors' attention this week is the story of inflation. Yields on US Treasuries rose after inflation reports showed prices in the world's largest economy rose sharply.

The euro on April 14 fell to its lowest level since April 2020, at $1.0758. Against the British pound, the euro also fell to a one-month low, ending April 14 in Vietnam time, down 0.4% from the previous session, to 82.85 pence. However, the British pound fell 0.5% against the USD, to 1.3045 USD.
