US stocks rose slightly on Monday (June 6), as Wall Street tried to recover from a week of declines and was influenced by a rise in US bond yields. At the end of the session, the Nasdaq index The Composite added 0.4% and the S&P 500 added 0.31%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 16.08 points (or nearly 0.1%). The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose more than 300 points at the start of the session, but the market pared some of its gains as the 10-year US government bond yield crossed the 3% mark.
